Words to Action empowers young Jewish people to become leaders in addressing antisemitism and encourages them to explore and connect to their Jewish identity and to each other.

What can the teens expect?

Through facilitator-led activities and discussions, participants will:


  • Gain tools for recognizing and challenging antisemitism
  • Learn to analyze antisemitism as a complex system that harms society at large
  • Explore the diversity of Jewish identity and experience
  • Become better advocates


What can the parents expect?

  • Become better advocates for their children within the school
  • Learn best practices for addressing the faculty and administration
  • Learn from the experiences of other communities and how to best apply those to our schools


The program, chaired by Miriam Zager, Tama Tamarkin, Lauren Rabin, Caren Lowrey, and Sara Jane Bub, is designed especially for middle and high school students, it’s also helpful for college students, summer camp counselors and staff, and youth and other community groups.

Registration is required.
